Steward Steel opened for business in 1950
and was founded by Fred Steward Sr. to supply quality steel building
materials to the construction industry. Since starting in a 30 foot
by 30-foot building one mile west of the current Sikeston location,
this family owned business now includes Structural Steel, Door and
Frame and Collector Bar Divisions. Today, it is among the largest,
most technologically advanced facilities in the Midwest.
